[fa icon="plus-square"] Can we bring a guest?

Yes, you can bring a spouse, significant other, or friend.

Guests will still only have to pay for their own flight. All other cost coverage is comparable to what the Angi team member will receive, including the food credit. Guest's are welcome to attend the Welcome Dinner, however the brunch will be for Angi team members only.
[fa icon="plus-square"] When must we RSVP by?

All RSVPs must be received by March 25, 2025. Please make sure your RSVP is on time to secure your spot on the June trip.

[fa icon="plus-square"] What are my flight details?

All attendees will book their flight using Angi's flight booking partner, Egencia. Guests will receive information after they have registered to set up their Angi account and the account for their plus one, if needed.

Please note you will be flying into the Fort Lauderdale Airport (FLL) located about 5 miles from the hotel (25 minutes). A second option would be to fly into Miami International Airport (MIA) which is about 45 minutes from the hotel.

[fa icon="plus-square"] Can I arrive early or extend my trip in Florida?

Yes all employees can choose to extend their trip in Florida at their own cost.  

We have a limited amount of pre-event extensions. However, the Diplomat is sold out for the nights after the event. Please email Info@ExecutiveGroupTravel.com for extension requests at the discounted group rate. 

Once Executive Group Travel confirms your extension, you have 72 hours to cancel those nights. After 72 hours, any cancelled rooms will be your financial responsibility to cover any cost associated with the cancellation.

[fa icon="plus-square"] What should I pack?

The temperatures in Hollywood Florida on average in June are between 80°F and 85°F during the day. 

A few other helpful items to bring:

  • Valid ID
  • A Credit Card will be required at the time of check in for incidentals
  • Resort Casual attire
  • Sunglasses
  • Sunscreen
  • Active Wear for those looking to explore the local area

This is a casual trip and long pants are not required at any of the restaurants. 

[fa icon="plus-square"] Is airport transportation provided?

Angi will cover the cost of all airport transfers in Florida, but will not be organizing transfers for attendees.  We will be emailing you Uber codes to use once in Florida to get from the airport to the hotel and back!

Uber can only be ordered to designated areas for each terminal (varies). Exit the terminal and follow the ride share signs for Uber! 

[fa icon="plus-square"] Is there parking on site if I decided to drive to the Diplomat Beach Resort?

Self-parking is available for hotel guests at $47 per day. If you do live within driving distance and will not be flying to the event, please notify Executive Group Travel in the registration process in the 'Special Requests' section.

Parking will NOT be covered by Angi unless you are driving to the event instead of flying. In addition, Angi will NOT cover the cost of a rental vehicle.

[fa icon="plus-square"] What can I expense from this trip?

The Diplomat Beach Resort is not all inclusive. 

Angi has provided a $400 per person stipend to help defray the cost of food and drinks of you and your guest throughout the trip. The resort is family friendly, however a reminder this is a company event so one guest is allowed to attend.

  • Guestroom Wi-Fi access for up to 5 devices

  • 10% off cabana rentals
  • 1-hour non-motorized water sports
  • 1-hour bicycle rental
[fa icon="plus-square"] Who is eligible to attend the Angi Club trip?
All individuals attending the President's Club trip must be employed at the time of the trip. If attendance at President's Club is not possible for any reason, no alternative compensation will be provided. Any Candidate Assessments of Performance (CAPs) in place at the end of the competition will also be reviewed and could lead to disqualification from this trip. Any conduct issues may result in ineligibility for the President's Club Trip, and is determined at the sole discretion of Angi.
[fa icon="plus-square"] If the itinerary changes, how will I stay updated?

There will be two options.

1.  Download the Trip Plans app that Executive Group Travel sends you, it will be hard to survive this trip without it. It provides everything from hotel confirmation # to flight details to airport transfer information!

2.  The website will also have all updates posted before the event and during the event.
