The Diplomat Beach Resort

This newly renovated beachfront resort is entering a 'New Era' with an updated breathtaking hotel lobby that offers a true South Florida feel and an inviting start to your stay. Put your toes in the sand along the 7 miles of beach right in front of the resort, or relax in the Lagoon pool or brand new adults-only infinity pool set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean. Whatever you decide, full relaxation for all guests is the goal here. Dive into the restaurants on property offering ocean front views, fresh local ingredients and menu items, and the award winning Diplomat Prime, you won't leave disappointed.

The resort offers plenty of options to make your stay personalized including options for water sport equipment or beach and pool cabana/daybed rentals. The 24-hour fitness center, Diplomat Spa located on site is open to all guests. All guests will have one complimentary CORE fitness class - for those looking to join in, check out the fitness schedule here. In addition, the resort offers a beach sunset yoga class on Friday and Sunday of the event or a fun Saturday afternoon Zumba class in the lagoon pool with a live DJ.

The resort is just a short drive or 20 minute walk from the one-of-a-kind Hollywood Beach Boardwalk, a promenade that stretches 2 miles along the Atlantic Ocean. Named one of America's Best Beach Boardwalks by Travel + Leisure magazine, this brick-paved thoroughfare hosts pedestrians, joggers, bicyclists, and rollerbladers. Hollywood is home to five golf courses, seven miles of pristine beaches, and plenty of shops and dining options. To make it easy for you to get out and experience everything the city has to offer, the Hollywood Sun Shuttle is available to take you around the barrier island, and to and from the Beach to Downtown Hollywood. A ride on this on-demand shuttle service is $2 per person, per ride. The free "Holly-Go" Community Shuttle offers a variety of routes Citywide.

Things to Know:

  • Valid ID and credit card will be required at check in to the Diplomat Beach Resort. Please note that a hold will be placed on your credit card for incidentals at the time of check-in. The unused amount will be released back to your credit card within 7 days of checking out!
  • The hotel is located approximately 25 minutes from the Fort Lauderdale airport and 45 minutes from the Miami airport.
  • Please take an Uber to the hotel upon arrival and for your departure. The address is 3555 South Ocean Drive Hollywood, Florida 33019.  You will be provided Uber codes through email before the trip to cover the round-trip airport transportation.
  • Weather: For June the average temp is around 88° Fahrenheit and the sun is high, so we highly recommend bringing hats, sunglasses, and sunscreen!
  • The $300 stipend will be provided during your stay to offset the cost of meals not sponsored during Angi group events.
  • No smoking, outside food, coolers or glassware allowed in beach or pool area.
